Stopanska Banka and Mastercard expand strategic partnership and introduce new card products

Stopanska Banka is expanding its strategic partnership with Mastercard to further develop payment services and introduce new card products for individuals and business clients. The expanded cooperation is part of the Bank's strategy to develop its payment infrastructure and improve the digital experience for its clients.

Chrysoula Koutoudi, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Stopanska Banka, stated that the collaboration began in 2009 and the bank has developed "a comprehensive and holistic card product offering" to meet customer needs.

Bartosz Ciolkowski, Division President for Southeast Europe at Mastercard, expressed satisfaction with deepening the partnership, noting that new Mastercard cards will provide "modern, secure products" for individuals and businesses.

As part of the partnership, Stopanska Banka will introduce Mastercard cards throughout the year. Clients will continue using existing cards until activating new ones, gaining access to tailored products and improved experiences.

The transition will occur gradually with at least one-month notice to customers. Clients will be informed when their new Mastercard is available at their branch. The process preserves existing account numbers and core terms and is provided free of charge, with extended card validity periods.

Three new products are being introduced: Mastercard Platinum debit and credit cards for individuals, Mastercard Business debit card for legal entities, and a promotional gaming program running through year-end.
