New donation - Second STB children's velodrome

Through its long-standing CSR campaign "Vozi pravo, vozi zdravo", Stopanska banka continues to enrich the offer of urban cycling equipment in Skopje for the benefit of children and families from the City. These days, the second STB Children's Velodrome was inaugurated, built in one of the most beautiful parks in the country, the Saraj Park, covering an area of 1,500m2.

In addition to the numerous sports and recreational facilities in the large park, families with younger children will now be able to practice cycling in urban conditions in a safe way, while also learning and mastering numerous traffic rules with the help of the installed signalization. As with previous donations within the "Vozi pravo, vozi zdravo" campaign, the Bank received support from the City of Skopje in the selection of the location, design and execution of this interactive family content.

Chief Retail Officer Milica Chaparovska Jovanovska stated: "Inspired by the positive reactions and by the great utilization of our previous donations realized under the motto Vozi pravo, vozi zdravo, we are confident that this new content in the Saraj Park will find a great response among young families. We believe that every investment made in the promotion of urban cycling gives long-term positive effects not only at the individual level but also for the community."

The Mayor of the City of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, expressed gratitude to Stopanska banka, noting that this is another sports-recreational content with which we increase the offer and attractiveness for sports fans in Skopje.

STB children's velodrome #2 is a miniature urban thoroughfare with no beginning and no end that allows children to practice cycling in the absence of cars and traffic, in a safe and educational way. The installed horizontal and vertical traffic signals allow children to become better acquainted with pedestrian crossings, roundabouts, traffic lights, ramps, and parking lots.

The investor is Stopanska banka AD - Skopje, with design by Radius Architects and construction performed by JP Ulici i patishta and Inteko DOOEL.
