New Chief Risk Officer Appointment

Stopanska Banka has announced the appointment of Emilija Stojanova Ivanovska, PhD as its new Chief Risk Officer and Board of Directors member, following receipt of appropriate regulatory licenses.

Ms. Stojanova Ivanovska brings two decades of banking experience to the role, including 15 years in management positions focused on credit risk management, portfolio quality, collections, and liquidity and market risk oversight.

Throughout her tenure at the Bank, she has directed significant risk-related initiatives, including the creation and refinement of credit assessment models and risk management frameworks, while serving on multiple Bank committees.

Her academic credentials include a PhD in Economics specializing in credit risk management through econometrics and statistical methodologies. She actively participates in professional conferences and lectures at educational institutions.

The executive has extensive involvement with institutional credit and risk management committees, establishing recognized expertise throughout the banking sector.
