HOME is better with the new "Magnolia park"

Stopanska banka marked its 80th anniversary by donating 80 mature Magnolia Grandiflora trees and opening a new "Magnolia Park" within Skopje City Park alongside city representatives.

The tall plants and newly constructed walkways through the park will provide aesthetic value while benefiting the environment through improved air quality, pollinator food sources, and wildlife habitat.

Through the #GreenWall initiative, Stopanska banka has planted evergreen and deciduous trees across multiple city locations over two years via spring and autumn campaigns to foster environmental sustainability.

Current and retired bank employees participated in the dedication ceremony, receiving recognition for their contributions and the opportunity to plant trees honoring their commitment to the bank's future growth.

Attendees affirmed that "HOME is more beautiful with the new Magnolia Park" and pledged stewardship of their planted trees, motivating continued collaboration between the bank and public institutions.

The City of Skopje serves as a project partner, with Public Company "Parkovi i Zelenilo" responsible for maintaining the 2,000 seedlings planted to date.

The park spans 2,000 square meters featuring two walkways and 80 six-year-old Magnolia Grandiflora trees chosen for their distinctive pink flowers resembling corporate branding and their aesthetic value.

University faculty previously assessed tree health and soil conditions, with drip irrigation systems scheduled for installation to ensure long-term seedling sustainability.
