Donation - Study room, Medical Faculty, Skopje

Stopanska Banka AD – Skopje has officially handed over a new, modern study room to the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje – a space designed for studying and conducting additional research in the field of medicine, intended for students and medical residents during their studies. The study room, located within the Clinical Center, covers an area of 120 square meters and is furnished with modular furniture, creating an inspiring environment for learning and professional development of future medical professionals.

The study room was officially opened by the members of Stopanska banka's Board of Directors, Mr. Diomidis Nikoletopoulos and Mr. Bojan Stojanoski. The opening ceremony was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, MD Svetozar Antovic, the vice-deans, professors, doctors, as well as representatives of the students who will be the primary users of this facility.

"Through its activities, Stopanska banka is dedicated to improving conditions in the local community" by supporting the professional development of future medical staff, noted CEO Diomidis Nikoletopoulos at the event.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine expressed gratitude for the donation, highlighting satisfaction with the long-term collaboration. He described the study room as essential for training top medical professionals and strengthening the healthcare system.

With the opening of this study room, Stopanska banka completes a series of donations to the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, made in honor of the Bank's 80th anniversary. In addition to the study room, the Bank donated advanced technology to the Institute of Pathology – a specialized scanner for pathohistological samples that uses artificial intelligence and medical software for more accurate analysis of medical specimens.
