Donation for territorial fire departments

Stopanska banka fully equipped three territorial firefighting units with individual firefighting uniforms: boots, helmet, gloves, jacket, shirt and pants. The uniform is especially made to assist in fighting forest fires, a natural calamity from which our mountains suffer every year.

The units from Staro Nagoricane, Rankovce and Kratovo with a total of 27 firefighters are already using the equipment and expressed their satisfaction at the meeting with the Board of Directors of Stopanska banka at the Crisis Management Center.

Diomidis Nicoletopoulos, CEO and chairman of the Board of Directors of Stopanska banka, expressed gratitude to the firefighters for their sacrifice and commitment to protecting nature and citizens from fire. He stated that "The donation from the Bank is an expression of our deep gratitude and respect to all of you, prompted by the devastating fires that swept the country during the summer."

He also expressed appreciation to the Center for Crisis Management for providing direct insight into which territorial units should receive the donation.

Stojanche Angelov, director of CMC, expressed gratitude to the firefighters for their commitment in dealing with fires, and to the Bank as the equipment donor.

With these donations, aligned with the "HOME" campaign promoting the bank's 80th anniversary, the institution contributed to making homes better and safer while building a future on healthy foundations.

In response to catastrophic forest fires across the country, the Bank coordinated with the Center for Crisis Management to provide complete equipment for three territorial units and all active firefighters from Staro Nagoricane, Rankovce and Kratovo. The bank sourced top-of-the-line equipment from local suppliers manufactured according to global standards capable of withstanding high temperatures with maximum user protection.
